Kalaheo Inn
About this stay
Kalaheo Inn is a small inn in Kalāheo, an upcountry town on Kauaʻi's sunny south side. Its fifteen suites, from studios to three-bedroom units, are set in a tropical garden a short walk from the town, and many have kitchenettes. Poʻipū beaches, Hanapēpē and Port Allen are a short drive away, and Waimea Canyon and Kōkeʻe state parks are within easy reach. Rates are among the lowest on the island, which makes it a good fit for families and travelers who plan to spend their days out exploring.

About Kaua'i
Kaua'i is the oldest of the main Hawaiian islands and the most deeply eroded, which gives it its sculpted cliffs, red-earth canyons and dense green valleys. It suits hikers, kayakers and travellers who prefer small towns to high-rises. A local rule keeps buildings no taller than a coconut palm, so there is nothing like Waikīkī here. Most visitors stay around Po'ipū, Kapa'a or Hanalei.
Getting there
Līhu'e Airport (LIH) is the island's main gateway. Inter-island flights from Honolulu take about 35 minutes, and there are seasonal and year-round direct flights from several US mainland cities. There is no passenger ferry to Kaua'i.
