Le Bora Bora occupies Motu Tevairoa, a small islet on the western side of the lagoon, a short boat hop from Vaitape, the island's main village. Accommodation ranges from garden and beach villas with plunge pools to several grades of overwater bungalow, some angled toward Mount Otemanu. The western motu side looks out toward the open reef and sunsets rather than the main peak head-on. A good fit for couples who want an overwater stay with private pools, and who like being close enough to Vaitape to get across for a day ashore.
