Napili Kai is a low-rise resort on Napili Bay in West Maui, a small, sheltered crescent of sand north of Kaanapali. Rooms are studios and one-bedroom suites in several buildings close to the water, with views across to Molokai and Lanai. The bay is calm much of the year and popular for snorkeling and swimming. It suits families and couples who want a quieter, older style of Maui beach stay rather than a large modern resort. Kapalua's beaches and coastal trail are a short drive north.
