About this stay

Mounu Island Resort is a small resort on its own islet in the southern part of Vava'u, a boat ride from Neiafu, the group's main town. A handful of fales sit among palms just back from the beach. Vava'u is a sailing hub of sheltered channels and small islands, and from about July to October humpback whales come here to breed and calve; the resort arranges whale trips in season. It suits couples and small groups who want seclusion during whale season.
